Identity consolidation will surpass identity partitioning as a branding metagame strategy because of generative AI. More content exists than people can consume in contemporary society. The volume of content will accelerate as generative AI advances. Identity partitioning will reduce in effectiveness as people struggle to remember diffused identities.
Generative AI will make it easy for people to create many different identities. Creating a new identity will become less resource intensive. Creating a memorable identity will become more resource intensive than ever.
Identity consolidation will become essential in order to achieve what I call identity superalignment.
What is identity superalignment?
Identity superalignment will be defined as an identity that attracts desired outcomes in a recursive manner.
Core identity attracts desired outcomes. Desired outcomes reinforces the core identity.
A useful metaphor for identity superalignment comes from star formations.
Stars are born within the clouds of dust and scattered throughout most galaxies. Turbulence deep within these clouds gives rise to knots with sufficient mass that the gas and dust can begin to collapse under its own gravitational attraction. As the cloud collapses, the material at the center begins to heat up. Known as a protostar, it is this hot core at the heart of the collapsing cloud that will one day become a star. As the cloud collapses, a dense, hot core forms and begins gathering dust and gas. Not all of this material ends up as part of a star — the remaining dust can become planets, asteroids, or comets or may remain as dust.

A lack of identity resembles dust floating in the expanse of space. Unable to gather sufficient mass, the cloud diffuses into oblivion.
A core identity requires density and a catalyst to move scattered parts together.
The core forms when the cloud collapses. The cloud collapses when mass leads to a critical mass of gravity.
An identity achieves identity superalignment when the identity begins folding upon itself - leading to a desired outcome.

How do I consolidate my identity? The first step is identifying areas of mass.
People - Interested in interacting with and studying people
Information - Interested in collecting and studying information about people
Utility - Interested in using maximizing utility for and from people
Novelty - Interested in studying and ideating on new technologies, especially augmented reality and spatial computing.
What ties everything together that leverages natural advantages?
An abstraction of my identity is a relationship optimizer for people.
Self development: relationship between a person and themselves.
Friendships: relationships between people and other people
Marketing and community: relationship between a person and an organization.
Partnerships: relationship between one organization and another organization.
Augmented Reality and Spatial Computing: relationship between physical reality and digital information.
Identity superalignment will be achieved when a core identity of relationship optimization begins attracting exponential growth in self-development, career and social relationships simultaneously.
In terms of focus, the best place to build an identity is with people with whom you have signs of relationship product-market fit.
